Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the input and maintenance of data, systems management, and miscellaneous administrative tasks to support coordination and data analysis required for the management and administration of ABCD's ESOL program.
- Schedule and assist with the implementation of informational sessions and orientation sessions.
- Collaborate with site coordinators to complete all intake materials, and collect, organize, and maintain all required documentation in client eligibility files.
- Assist in administering assessments to determine applicants' ESOL level and ensure appropriate placement.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with applicants, as appropriate.
- Answer the ESOL main phone line and answer program-related questions.
- Assist with data collection, entry, and management; and perform ongoing monitoring and reporting as it pertains to self-assessment, program development, program quality reviews, and new funding applications.
- Act as a liaison between ABCD and representative/technical support staff from database system creators and companies in order to maintain software updates, advocate for agency needs, and use all the software features to their fullest potential.
- Provide technical support and assistance to the ESOL team as it relates to collection, entry, management, and monitoring of data.
- Assist in the creation of and maintain systems and procedures for collecting data for entry and reporting purposes, including waitlist, attendance and sign-in sheets, rosters, and other documentation related to student enrollment and termination.
- Coordinate with advisors to ensure consistent follow-up with former students and data entry of follow-up in alignment with DESE and NRS requirements.
- Assist on special data projects including surveys, needs assessments, self-assessment, public presentations, reports, and development projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
- A Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of experience in the areas of data entry, data integrity, and information management required.
- Attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness of data management.
- Ability to attend and participate in community activities, training, and night meetings as needed.
- Bilingual skill in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole highly preferred.
- Flexibility, initiative, and ability to work in a team required.
- Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
