Action Health Staffing is looking for individuals who are acertified nursing assistant for home care hours in Smithfield for apart time schedule. (Could turn into full time hours.)
Responsibilities include assistance withambulation, housekeeping, and personal care. You will also beproviding companionship and social interaction. Must be dependableand reliable. Paperless environment means no timesheets to dropoff.
The home careaide is responsible for providing services to home care patients inthe patient's place of residence.
WORK ACTIVITIES :
Providedirect patient care as assigned. The following duties may beassigned based on the needs of each client.
Provide personal hygiene care. Duties may include bath, shave, haircare, mouth care, and other care of daily living.
Assist with methods of transfers,repositioning, and ambulation.
Provide basicnursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by thesupervising registered nurse, physical therapist, occupationaltherapist or speech therapist.
Prepare mealswith consideration of client's preferences and special diets whenso directed.
Provide companionship andactivities that will vary according to individual needs andinterests.
Light housekeeping duties asassigned.
Participate as a team member toensure high quality of health care.
Maintaincomplete and accurate records required by agency.
Record and report changes in client'sphysical or psychosocial condition.
Completetask according to EVV app for Aide Plan task, and or complete taskon the assigned EVV time sheet when needed.
Demonstrate dependability by punctually reporting as assigned.
Adapt well to client and family valuesystems.
Assist in providing independencewithin the scope of client's abilities.
Perform other duties according to the care plan.
Call Action Health Staffing with anyquestions, concerns, changes and / or comments. Always uphold patientconfidentiality / privacy and respect the patients Bill of Rights.
Notify Action Health Staffing immediately ifyou suspect any abuse, neglect, unsafe living environments, orviolation of patient's privacy / confidentiality.
Always follow the Plan of Care Neveradminister medications.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Maintain certification with DFS.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Possess effective communication skills toinclude ability to read, write and follow directions.
Ability to perform physical tasks necessaryto treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
Must have sympathetic attitude toward thecare of the sick.
