Bus Assistant—Butte Head StartEmployment/FLSA Status: Part-Time/Non-Exempt/Seasonal
We are currently seeking an energetic person to join our team in the position of Bus Assistant. Through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style guided by the objectives of the organization, the position plays an integral role in the administration of Community Action programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the loading and unloading of preschool age children on the Head Start buses, along with supervising children while on the bus. This position will be a member of the Mining City Head Start #1 Local #4419,MEA-MFT,AFT,AFL-CIO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the loading and unloading of preschool aged children on the Head Start buses.
- Responsible for the supervision of preschool aged children while on the Head Start buses.
Hours of Work:
- 24-28 hours per week
- 4-5 days per week
High School Diploma or GED
