Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in West Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of industrial and safety products across various industries, including manufacturing, construction, and warehousing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of industrial safety products, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the industrial and safety sectors.
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions as needed.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within assigned territory.
- Regularly visit clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management through CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience in industrial, safety, or related sectors preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and safety products, including PPE (personal protective equipment), safety tools, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the region.
- Ability to travel locally (West Michigan) as needed.
