Maintenance - First Shift - Monday thru Friday

Position Summary

We are looking for a strong Maintenance Technician to join our team and help install, repair and complete preventative maintenance for our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining all building systems, including extrusion equipment, dryers, pelletizers, electrical, and install new systems. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Conduct safety inspections of all equipment and machinery.
• Follow safety protocols when working with materials.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating parts, etc.

· Physical stamina and agility to stand, bend, and lift items up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hr. shifts.

· Capability to use hand tools for measurements as trained.

· Plant working conditions: significant standing, walking, minor lifting. Wear safety gear as required for job tasks.

· Must be able to withstand a hot production environment during summer months. Temps are generally 10 degrees warmer than outside ambient temperatures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
