What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A Driver - Construction position at Action Personnel Inc?
This is a skilled position operating out of the Roanoke, VA location. It involves driving company vehicles and equipment to the worksite and operating the mobile mix concrete truck safely and efficiently. The driver is responsible for the working condition and cleanliness of equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
- A valid Commercial Drivers License A is required. Must possess and maintain a current, valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate meeting all D.O.T. requirements.
- Experience in operating a mobile mix truck is not required. Training will be provided.
- Experience in truck or equipment maintenance is not required. Training will be provided.
This position performs duties at our various work sites throughout Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina March through October. And then returns to our Roanoke location for maintenance, repairs, and inspection work in the winter months.
Most often the winter months are home daily. Almost every weekend home throughout the year. Home off and on throughout the peak season.
