What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at Action Personnel Inc?
The Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that both in-process and finished products adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This position supports Operations directly, conducts area audits, and performs additional tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Quality & Safety:
- Verify that products meet safety, legal, and quality requirements through in-process testing aligned with control plans.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Review and confirm the accuracy of all documentation for completed job packs.
- Log nonconformances and ensure products are correctly labeled.
- Process Verification:
- Work with the Team Lead to verify Changeovers/Startups (CO/SU).
- Auditing:
- Conduct weekly area audits to maintain operational standards.
- Operational Support:
- Provide support during shifts, including troubleshooting and recording rework instructions on STOP! control tickets.
- Record daily observations in the QA logbook.
- Data Management:
- Enter sample testing results into Excel and upload the data to SharePoint.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reliable data entry skills.

- Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Work 7 out of every 14 days, with a 3-day weekend off every other weekend
