Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronic Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as proficiency in various assembly techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components according to specifications and schematics. Assembly of coils into housing, epoxy and glue(by hand with tools and fixtures)
- Utilize soldering techniques for component assembly, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Operate power tools and machinery safely to perform assembly tasks.
- Conduct inspections using tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to ensure accuracy and quality of assembled products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Apply first tape to wound coils, attach lead wires to coil, solder lead wires, (dip soldering) apply final tape test coils following test instructions
Experience
- Proficiency in surface mount technology (SMT) is preferred.
- Manuel dexterity work with hands on various sized coils from 1/4" diameter to 1.5" diameter
- Follow verbal Spanish and English, basic English reading skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining is a plus.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is essential.
- Previous experience in electronic assembly or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
