What are the responsibilities and job description for the RV Service Technician position at Action RV?
Well established, highly reputable, family oriented, customer focused RV service center seeking qualified technicians to join our Team.
Duties: Technicians inspect, diagnose, repair, and/or upgrade recreational vehicles including travel trailers and 5th wheels. We specialize in maintaining and installing air conditioners, appliances (LP and electric), generators, hydraulic systems, plumbing components, and/or chassis/towing systems. Our expertise includes repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. Roof and floor replacement is in our scope of work.
Qualifications / Experience: RV experience is a plus, but willing to train highly motivated, suitable, skilled mechanics. Previous electrical experience is a definite advantage. Industry and/or LP certifications, woodworking and remodeling skills are a plus but not required. Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, a team player, able to perform tasks at a high level of professionalism and maintain a clean work environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Basic computer knowledge is beneficial.
Candidate should be able to lift at least 50lbs, squat, kneel, climb ladders and be comfortable with heights. Working in inclement can be expected. Candidate for technician must have their own tools appropriate to the job!
Valid driver's license and I-9 eligibility are position requirements. Candidates must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
