We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sign Installation Technician to join our team. As a Sign Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing a wide variety of signs, ensuring they are securely mounted and displayed according to specifications. This position requires a good mix of technical ability, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain various types of signage
- Operate tools and equipment, such as ladders, scaffolding, drills, and power tools
- Work with electrical components, ensuring wiring and connections meet safety standards (when applicable)
- Inspect signs for proper installation and provide necessary repairs and adjustment
- Following safety protocols
- Maintain and service installation equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Effective time management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in sign installation or related field (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs or more) and work at heights
- Basic knowledge of electrical work (for digital/electronic signs) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
