Bilingual Social Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and a passion for helping individuals and families navigate challenges related to mental health, childcare, and addiction. This role involves providing support, guidance, and resources to clients while advocating for their needs within the community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and support in areas such as behavioral health, crisis intervention, and addiction recovery.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on workforce development and life skills.
• Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff members in their professional development.
• Collaborate with other professionals in child welfare and community services to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services within the community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Proven experience in social work, particularly in adolescent therapy, behavioral health, or crisis intervention settings.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and addiction counseling practices is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in social work practices.
• Spanish speaking required.
