- Provide direct patient care within the facility.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat inmates with various medical conditions.
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in health education programs and promote preventive care measures.
- Nurse Practitioner license valid in the state of Colorado.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- DEA Valid in the state of Colorado
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in correctional nursing or a similar healthcare setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with mental health challenges.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Experience in managing chronic medical conditions and providing preventive care.
- Flexible day shift schedules
- Hourly compensation up to $77/hr DOE (speak with our recruiters for travel requirements and rates)
