Backgrounds to source from: mechanical experience from aircraft, auto or diesel translates well, 2 years of mechanical experience would be preferred
Local candidate needed, no relocation offered
AC is in building and Mitsubishi provides all the tools
1 round, 30 minute in-person interviews, will schedule for the afternoons (after 3pm EST)
Execute daily work assignments as provided by shop supervision in accordance with all MHPS safety, quality, and productivity standards. Daily assignments will be related to the movement of production and non-production material as well as any task associated with the assembly of a gas/steam rotor. Tasks may commonly require the use of heavy manufacturing equipment such as: hand tools, hydraulic torque and tension equipment, overhead cranes, and precision measurement devices.
Mechanical work, disassembly cleaning, repairing, and reassembling of power generation equipment. Assemblers will be required to maintain a crane operator license 125T crane, use angle grinders, pencil grinders, blend metal, remove dents and dings, read dial indicators and take precision measurements. There is a possibility for welding. Operate a walk in blast booth. Operate 5k to 30k fork truck.
