Position Summary:
The duties of a yard/shop worker can vary and can include, but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment: Must be able to receive multiple orders and organize them when loading them onto trucks or within the yard.
- Assisting in maintaining our MOT devices onsite as well as various equipment.
- Assisting in building cages
- Keeping the yard/warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, removing trash, and ensuring all tools and materials are in their proper locations.
- Shop cleanup: Assisting with general cleanup tasks within the shop, such as organizing materials, cleaning workspaces, and disposing of any waste or debris.
- Safe worker who can lift 75 pounds without assistance, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. This position also requires you to frequently stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and bend.
- Welding on occasion
- Must be willing to work outdoors.
- Occasionally operate various equipment to move materials around the yard.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Minimum Qualifications:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock.
