After-school Music Instructors Wanted! We are looking for HIGHLY ENERGETIC individuals to teach students attending our after-school program in the Victorville/Adelanto area.
Our sites are located within the Adelanto Elementary School District. Program Leaders may work at any AYA program sites and receive their assignments based on their availability and AYA program needs.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to inspiring students of all levels. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that includes both individual and group instruction, preparing students for performances, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist student with homework and projects
- Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for students of varying skill levels.
- Provide individual and group instruction in instrumental training.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
A Music instructor teaches students the fundamentals and advanced concepts of playing drums, cymbals, and other percussive musical instruments.
Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced
- Organize performance groups, direct their rehearsals, put on performances at the site, and prepare to audition for community/district Performing Arts Showcase.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
