What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program Leader position at Action Youth America?
We are looking for an experienced Program Leader to join our team.
Our sites are located within the Temple City Unified School District. Program Leaders may work at any AYA program sites and receive their assignments based on their availability and AYA program needs.
- Act as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor to the students.
- Program Leaders are responsible to create and facilitate academic and recreational enrichment for up to 20 students
- Develop engaging and creative lesson plans.
Hours and Scheduling: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 per hour. (Bi-Weekly Pay)
Job Qualifications
- Minimum six months Child Care experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Commit to a full school year.
- Must successfully pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
- Must pass TB and TDAP test
- Must have reliable transportation
