JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing the industrial cleaning crew and equipment on a plant site. The position is responsible for ensuring that work is completed safely and to the customer’s standards. The ideal candidate will have 5 – 10 years of experience with industrial cleaning equipment and previous supervisory experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain safety standards and requirements at all times for entire crew under supervision
2. Perform and supervise others in various tasks such as hydro blasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck operation, and tank cleaning
3. Operate extremely high pressured water blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc)
4. Work in diverse environments such as confined spaces, various heights, and storage tanks
5. Work outdoors in all weather conditions-extreme heat, cold, dry or wet environment
6. Load hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned job onto truck.
7. Hook up and break down hoses using proper tools.
8. Assist in the operation of equipment or power tools.
9. Clean up work area and equipment after work is completed.
10. Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area
11. Read works orders and collects all basic equipment to perform tasks
12. Complete all appropriate paperwork including services receipts.
13. Additional duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- A strong commitment to safety
- 5 – 10 years of experience operating vacuum trucks, hydro-blasters, and line cleaning
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage and motivate others
- Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as required
