What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Center Manager position at ActioNet, Inc.?
ActioNet has an opportunity for a Data Center Manager requiring a SECRET clearance in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Hybrid work is available. You will play a multifaceted role and be the main Point of Contact (POC) to oversee the management of day-to-day operations, maintenance, and new installations within our data centers. The ideal candidate will have extensive data center management experience and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure. The right candidate will work well with a team, exhibit excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated, and seek ways to improve the environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the data centers including planning and coordination, ensuring high availability and performance, managing staff and vendors.
- Manage new installations and upgrades within data centers.
- Ensure data center infrastructure is reliable and efficient.
- Collaborate with other teams to support data center operations.
- Develop and implement data center policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
