ActioNet has an opportunity for the Cloud Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, monitoring, and optimization of agency’s cloud environments. This role ensures that cloud resources are available, secure, and operating efficiently, aligning with agency goals and compliance requirements. The Cloud Operations Manager collaborates with IT teams to implement best practices for multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud operations, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cloud operations, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Manage cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Implement automation strategies to optimize cloud resource management.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with federal cloud security and operational standards.
- Lead a team of cloud engineers to support ongoing operations and incident resolution.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Engineer).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with federal IT security standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST).
