ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to support cybersecurity operations and compliance efforts. Position Overview:
As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of enterprise systems by assessing risks, implementing security controls, and maintaining system compliance. Your responsibilities will include vetting and approving network account requests, reviewing security logs, and conducting vulnerability assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identity & Access Management:
- Vet and approve Network Account requests and AccessDS Applications requests.
- Maintain and manage the DS Security Mailbox.
- Conduct MSG Class reviews and create tickets as needed.
- Validate student clearances for BRSO Class enrollments.
- Identify and remediate misconfigured and stale accounts.
- Security Operations & Monitoring:
- Perform monthly vulnerability scans using Tenable Nessus.
- Review log activity for systems hosted in EACS (Microsoft Azure environment).
- Analyze Splunk logs to identify potential security threats.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Determine security control requirements and implement security solutions.
- Conduct annual security control reviews through testing, examination, and interviews.
- Assess and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities to enhance security posture.
- Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and technologies for system integration.
- Ensure security configurations for network devices, applications, servers, and databases.
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and compliance documentation.
- Assist in security certification, testing, and evaluation processes.
- Ensure security design and development activities are properly documented.
Required Qualifications:
- CNSSI 4014 - Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) certification.
- CompTIA Security certification.
- Experience in security operations, access management, and risk assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).
- GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure security monitoring and compliance.
