Description
ActioNet has an opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst & Information Security Manager requiring a Top-Secret clearance in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Hybrid work is available. You will play a multifaceted role and be the main Point of Contact (POC) and be responsible for safeguarding the organization's information systems by implementing and managing robust security measures. This role involves supervising cybersecurity teams, developing and testing security plans, and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards. The manager will also handle incident response, vulnerability management, and maintain security policies to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. The right candidate will work well with a team, exhibit excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated, and seek ways to improve the environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and their data.
- Supervise cybersecurity teams and manage cybersecurity operations.
- Develop, monitor, and conduct testing of cybersecurity plans and controls using government-approved tools and methods.
- Document test results, develop and recommend corrective actions, and document residual risk and risk assessment statements.
- Understand and apply cyber policies and practices, including National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications.
- Manage security assessment and authorization (SA&A) processes, including NIST 800-37, 800-53, CNSSI, and other Federal requirements.
- Develop and revise EHSS Security Policies, such as the EHSS Privacy Plan and EHSS Configuration Management Plan.
- Create baseline documentation and develop and review policies for EHSS.
- Handle Incident Response practices, vulnerability management, Plan of Action and Milestone management, Zero Trust Architecture, cloud requirements and assessments, and Continuous Diagnostics Mitigations / Continuous Monitoring.
