Our Marketing Team plays a critical role in promoting the Actionstep brand, products, and services to drive growth and customer engagement. By leveraging creative campaigns and digital channels, we aim to build brand awareness, attract and retain customers, and support our business goals.

We’re on the hunt for a talented Brand Designer to bring our brand to life through captivating visuals and compelling designs. This role will report to the Director of Demand Generation and collaborate closely with our Marketing Team to ensure every design aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives.

As our Brand Designer, you’ll take ownership of Actionstep’s visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across digital and print platforms. You’ll play a key role in producing design and web assets that elevate our market presence and establish Actionstep as a fun, differentiated, and accessible B2B brand.

What You Will Do:

Creative Design & Development:

  • Design and produce digital and print assets, including ads, social media graphics, email templates, landing pages, brochures, infographics, and event materials.
  • Create and edit videos using Adobe and Synthesia.
  • Support marketing automation with templates and tools like Canva, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Continuously improve design processes to ensure high-quality, impactful, and timely outputs.
  • Stay updated on design trends to keep materials fresh and market-relevant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Brand Consistency:

  • Ensure all creative materials align with brand guidelines and maintain consistent style and tone.
  • Govern brand use internally and externally while managing a library of brand assets.
  • Develop user-friendly templates to streamline workflows and promote brand uniformity.

Website Maintenance (Nice to Have):

  • Update and maintain the WordPress website, aligning it with marketing initiatives.
  • Optimise website performance, user experience, and visual appeal.

What you need to know and what will make you successful!

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Branding, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a creative or design role, ideally within a marketing department.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
  • Experience with video editing or animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles and how they influence marketing assets.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Suitable National Criminal Check.

Desirable:

  • Experience in website management (WordPress or similar CMS), including basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Experience with project management tools to assist efficient review and approval processes.
