An automotive parts manufacturer near the Columbus, IN area is looking for 2nd Shift Die Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have previous die repair experience within a manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair of tooling and dies
Use of hand tools, drills, welders, grinders,
Update blueprints as necessary
Remove defective parts and install new equipment
Support Maintenance, Engineering, and Production departments as needed
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required
At least 2 years die repair experience
Ability to read technical blueprints and sketches
Time management and multitasking skills
Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
