An international logistics company is actively seeking an Accountant to join their facility near Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities of Accountant
- Responsible for AP/AR, General Ledger, Cash Management
- Document financial transactions by entering account information
- Maintain financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are recorded
- Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts
- Reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
- Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other report
- Communicate with managers or on work status and client issues that arise
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in general accounting role
- Strong skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
- Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
- Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
- Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
