A packaging company near the New Haven, KY area is looking for a Machine Operator. You will be responsible for setup & operation of automated bagging machines. The ideal candidate will have related experience within the packaging industry.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production schedule (confirm correct bags, labeling, & materials)
- Confirm details of job orders (specifications & amounts)
- Start machines – confirm smooth operation – adjust parts if needed
- Monitor machine parts (report issues to supervisor)
- Regular PMs on machines & other equipment – utilizing hand tools
- Conduct production & shift report
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (certification or associates/technical degree preferred)
- Knowledge of cGMP (current good manufacturing practices)
- Confident with computer skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
