An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Controls Designer who is responsible for supporting clients in the development of automation systems.
Controls Designer Responsibilities :
- Design and modify equipment for building and assembling electrical components
- Assist with creation of wiring programs, wire routing schematics and documentation of systems
- Create and modify schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Panel design including selection of components and creating purchase orders
- Supervise control system construction and installation
- Travel to customer sites facilities following installation for modifications and troubleshooting of systems when necessary
Controls Designer Requirements :
This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
