An international manufacturer in Memphis, TN is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support their operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, and have experience with powering electrical systems and configuring hardware for different applications.
This is a full time and direct hire position with an excellent benefits package.
Electrical Controls Engineer Responsibilities Include :
- Power up electrical systems with different hardware configurations, depending on client needs
- Read mechanical drawings and understand their electrical requirements
- Create specifications for graphical user interface (GUI) based on client requirements
- Supervise control system construction and installation
- Occasionally travel to customer sites facilities following installation for modifications and troubleshooting of systems
Electrical Controls Engineer Requirements :

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
