What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endpoint Security Engineer position at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions?
An international IT solutions company servicing the automotive industry located near Plano, TX is looking for an Endpoint Security Engineer who will be responsible for deploying and managing endpoint security tools within our complex operational environments, ensuring robust security of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Please note this is W2 Contract position and hybrid position (50% office).
Local candidates are preferred.
Main Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions on both Windows and Linus operating systems across the organization.
- Perform regular system hardening and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and evaluate risks
- Work with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
- Create and maintain documentation related to endpoint security procedures and protocols
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats and technologies to continuously strengthen our security posture.
