What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Applications Developer - Onsite / Direct Hire (33088) position at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions?
An international automotive parts manufacturing company to the north of the Dayton, Ohio area is currently seeking a motivated ERP Applications Developer to join their facility. The ideal candidate has 1-5 years’ work experience in ERP application development and integration, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
*This is a full-time, direct hire position.
ERP Applications Developer Responsibilities Include:
- Develop application software solutions for business operational efficiency, including implementation into internal ERP system
- Collaborate with user and/or technical lead on functional/technical specifications for identification of programming objectives
- Analysis of systems processes in ASP.NET framework to determine system impacts by preparing feasibly studies, cost/time estimates, etc.
- Execute functionality and performance testing to ensure fulfillment of design specifications
- Provide ERP system application and hardware support including end-user training as needed
- Prepare technical documentation and end-user training materials
- Other duties as assigned
ERP Applications Developer Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1-5 years of application development experience. Working experience with VB.NET, ASP.NET, ERP systems, and SQL is strongly preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills for requirement gathering and documentation
- Flexibility and willingness to collaborate in a multicultural environment
- Strong organization and time management skills
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to interact with computer systems/hardware, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
