What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golang Developer position at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions?
An international, multi-industry company in the Plano, TX area is actively looking for an experienced Golang Developer for their Vehicle Connected Systems' Security team. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in Backend development with expertise in Golang, AWS, and cloud security.
*This is a CONTRACTED, "ON-SITE AS NEEDED" position, and does NOT support 1099/C2C work statuses.
Job Responsibilities for Golang (Go language) Developer:
- Create and enhance Golang-based microservices and libraries for back-end applications hosted in AWS Serverless and multi-tier architecture frameworks for deployment on EC2 instances
- Implement cryptographic algorithms for signing and encrypting
- Perform code reviews and optimization
- Work with technical lead, solution architect, development, and other DevOps teams to build POC prototypes leveraging existing or new architecture
- Work with other developers and support teams for E2E testing
- Use and contribute to coding standards and best practices to ensure quality, accessibility, and scalability of code
- Prepare low-level design docs and ensure all documentation is current for new product features/changes to existing product features.
Ideal Minimum Requirements for Golang Developer:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar is a plus
- 4 years of development experience (C, C , C#, Rust, Python, Golang)
- Strong understanding of API design and security
- Experience with RESTful services and gRPC
- Experience with AWS infra and services including application deployment and security with a focus on cloud information security
- Experience with container technologies (registry, orchestration, computing)
- Experience with secure coding and security conceptions like TLS, PKI, SAML/OAuth, Key Management, hashing algorithms, etc.
- Experience with DevOps build/deployment tools (e.g. CI/CD, Antifactory, SonarQube).
Not Required but a Perfect applicant will have:
- Japanese language and/or cultural experience
- Experience in Automotive or embedded systems domain is a huge plus
- Experience in global application deployment
