An International IT Service & Solution company serving the automotive industry located near Plano, TX is seeking an experienced and dedicated Information Security Consultant (Cybersecurity Project Lead) .
Role Overview
You will work closely with the head of the cybersecurity department, creating Enterprise security solutions by evaluating the current security situation, trends, and third-party solutions. You'll perform in-depth technical analysis of threats and requirements, develop reports and strategic documents, and set technical criteria / KPIs for service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic documents, playbooks, and configuration guides to plan cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on Microsoft security solutions (Defender, Sentinel, Entra) and penetration testing tools.
- Validate strategies hands-on to ensure plans are effective.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues to ensure timely completion, and manage client expectations and deliverables effectively.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity experts, providing technical support and guidance to enhance their performance.
- Utilize your cybersecurity expertise to analyze security operations and produce relevant documentation.
- Create and present regular security reports to management for informed decision-making.
- Stay updated on new security technologies and evolving threats, demonstrating adaptability in the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape.
