- Prepare documents for air and ocean export or import operations in a timely manner, adhering to procedures and guidelines.
- Manage cargo in emergency situations, ensuring routes are corrected promptly.
- Communicate with clients and provide logistics customer service.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, truckers, and vendors, arranging pick-up and delivery.
- Make arrangements for domestic railway/trucking shipping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in international import or export operations in the freight forwarding industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills in a team environment, with the ability to bring a positive atmosphere to the team.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and be flexible in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication (speaking, writing, reading, listening) and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties efficiently.
- Team-worker, detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, self-motivated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
