A global food distribution company is currently seeking a Japanese / English Bilingual Purchasing Agent to support their office in the Newark, NJ area. This is a full-time, direct hire onsite position.
Japanese / English Bilingual Purchasing Agent Responsibilities Include :
- Perform recordkeeping for purchasing department
- Keep in touch with custom brokers to get most updated cargo receiving-schedules
- Perform data analysis related to purchasing activities to support decision making process
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and market trends
- Generate reports, purchase orders, import permit, shipping documents and so on
- Regularly update company’s database with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Keep immaculate records and documentation for purchasing orders, invoices, contracts and so on
