A global electrical energy device manufacturer is seeking a highly skilled Korean Bilingual Sr. IT Engineer to oversee and enhance IT infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong IT infrastructure management experience within the manufacturing industry, expertise in SAP ERP systems, and the ability to manage network, server, and data center operations. This role requires bilingual proficiency in Korean and English, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong project management skills. This is a 100% onsite, full-time, exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities of Korean Bilingual Sr. IT Engineer
- Maintain the company's network, server, data center system operation & maintenance
- Manage IT projects, including budgets, timelines and business processes
- Ensure IT security requirements are being met
- Manage and improve backup systems
- Maintain system documentation
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot server environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), including configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure the IT solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security and data protection standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including operational procedures and infrastructure diagrams
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in company’s IT infrastructure
- Other duties as assigned by upper management
Qualifications of Korean Bilingual Sr. IT Engineer
- Fluent in both Korean and English (business level), with excellent speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields with equivalent experience
- 5 years of IT infrastructure management experience in manufacturing related industy
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems (REQUIRED)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, self-motivated, and a strong team player
