A packaging manufacturer near the New Haven, KY area is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join their plant. You will oversee daily operations – ensuring goals/objectives are achieved. Main focus will be on printing & lamination. The ideal candidate will have related management experience within an industrial environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site.
Manufacturing Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate daily activities (operations, production, safety)
- Oversee department schedules & delegated assignments
- Manage production schedule of Printing/Lamination department
- Monitor production progress – meet goals – address problems
- Establish labor needs to meet production goals
- Contribute to budget preparation (labor, materials, etc.)
- Handle scheduled performance reviews
- Responsible for discipline & termination when needed
Manufacturing Operations Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (business related preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ manufacturing operations experience
- Packaging & printing management preferred
- Experience with production schedules
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Rotogravure Presses & color matching is a big plus

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 30 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
