An international automotive parts manufacturing company is actively seeking PPAP Quality Coordinator to join their facility near Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities of PPAP Quality Coordinator
- Ensure the PPAPs are maintained properly and correctly
- Monitor and manage PPAP status
- Respond to any quality issues and communicate with customers regarding action plans and root cause analysis
- Work closely with other departments to improve and prevent quality issues
- Maintain clean and safe workplace and ensure the team follows company procedure and policies
- Manage customer’s complaints regarding quality issues and direct team accordingly
- Ensure everyone in the company follows safety protocol and report any unsafe environment
- Build and maintain a professional relationship with team member for effective communication
- Follow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facility
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications of PPAP Quality Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge in PPAP or other automotive parts quality control management
- Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
- Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
- Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
- Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
