Production Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a driven Production Supervisor with experience in manufacturing and proficiency in industrial processes and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision, training, and professional development for staff
- Troubleshooting and maintaining the production process
- Coordinates manufacturing activities with teams to meet daily customer requirements and production targets
- Ensures accurate reporting and documentation in production, with precise data entry into systems
- Takes a lead role in driving and participating in continuous improvement efforts and maintains 5S/3D practices
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in some sort of lead or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with machine operations and mechanical skills for effective troubleshooting
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to read blueprinting and parts inspection
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documents
This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. The successful candidate will be able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
