A packaging company near the Bardstown, KY area is looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join their plant. This role will oversee the production team & operations of 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience within an industrial environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Maintain production schedules for 2nd shift
- Confirm you have necessary staff & materials
- Schedule team & delegate according to needs
- Monitor & modify production schedules when necessary
- Ensure equipment safety & functionality (coordinate w/ internal departments)
- Complete quality checks for each line during shift
Production Supervisor Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Able to understand & explain production schedules
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Ability to lead & delegate within a multi-cultural environment

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
