Job Description
This Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Coordinator role is responsible for facilitating the efficient workflow of the sales department by delivering critical information and streamlining administrative processes related to sales activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Japanese language and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Input orders into the ERP system and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment information, and billing questions.
- Coordinate the procurement of import products, ensuring accurate application of information and knowledge of logistics policies.
- Collaborate with the parent company in Japan for new product launches and/or product renewals.
- Prepare import/export documents and certificates.
- Process payment requests and prepare reports of cost summary.
Skills and Qualifications
- An associate's degree.
- 1 year of inside sales experience.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (speaking, reading, and writing).
- PC and Microsoft Office skills.
- Oracle/NetSuite is a plus.
