An international supplier of Automated Manufacturing Equipment is looking for a motivated Sales and Product Manager to join their team near Arlington Heights, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven product management experience and experience with deburring/finishing machinery in a manufacturing environment. Sales and Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Creation of sales data, strategies, and other relevant information for all new products on offer, through entire life cycle
- Oversight of manufacturing operations, including production planning, process improvement, quality and safety initiatives, employee supervision, etc.
- Collaboration with Sales Team to develop effective product information and sales tools for new products
- Conduct detailed presentations on current and future product lines for Sales Team
- Develop department standards, processes, and achievement goals
- Coordination with all shifts and departments to ensure accurate completion, shipment, and delivery of products
- Cost analysis, cost saving initiatives, and budget planning
- Lead daily and weekly team meetings for managers and supervisors
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of employees
- Other duties as assigned
Sales and Product Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ product management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with finishing, deburring, and leveling machinery processes, including programming, troubleshooting and control functions
- Ability to train team members in the proper function of finishing, deburring, and finishing machinery
- Open to 25% travel, including international travel
- Prior experience with ERP/CRM systems, Salesforce a big plus
- Ability to identify and recommend new sales opportunities
- Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and leadership ability in a multicultural environment
- Strong familiarity with local and federal regulations regarding quality, safety, and environmental standards, employment laws, etc.
- This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
