A international industrial power manufacturer is looking for a Senior Material Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MRP and ERP systems within SAP as well as at least 3 years of production planning / coordinating experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
This is a full-time and direct hire position and can support a hybrid work schedule.
Senior Material Planner Responsibilities:
- Documenting and keeping records of data and spreadsheets so that they are up to date
- Procure necessary materials required
- Purchase Orders - Maintaining, creating, updating, reviewing, and tracking to ensure accuracy
- Expedite orders that are past due, backordered, and out of stock materials when it is necessary to do so
- Maintain spreadsheets and records
- Supporting your team as well as other co-workers in different departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Senior Material Planner Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3-5 years’ work experience in production control, purchasing or procurement, or related field preferred, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP is preferred
- Good computer skills with specific proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication ability in a multicultural environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and good organizational skills
- Availability for occasional business travel as needed
