Position Summary:
Activate’s Logistics team supports customer service and delivery activities by coordinating and directing the shipping, receiving and storage of goods. The Logistics Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, as well as preparing complicated nuanced outbound shipments.
General Responsibilities
- Greet and receive all inbound shipments into the Activate facility:
- Unload trucks via forklift and pallet jack o Check for damage in transit o Record deliveries and place into inventory
- Prepare outbound shipments o Pick and pack assets from inventory according to both Activate and Client’s standards o Palatize freight safely and securely o Load trucks via forklift and pallet jack
- Utilize the Activate WMS:
- Ensure that inbound / outbound process always produces accurate inventory levels
- Execute process to maintain efficiency in the processing of order
- All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years in shipping/receiving/logistics/supply chain role
- Knowledge of warehousing procedures an advantage
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs.
- Possess strong communications skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with production team and clients
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Ability to master new programs and applications
- High attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to function under high pressure and tight timelines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
