We are seeking a dedicated Community Relations Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships within the community and sharing them with our families and clients.

AAP is offering part-time and full time positions for our Community Resource Coordinator Position. We work with clients all throughout San Diego County and the ideal applicant must be willing to drive their personal vehicle to appointments.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, outgoing, enjoys networking, researching and making professional connections. The community Resource Coordinator must be able to execute their job tasks with minimal supervision and work closely with the entire team. In addition, the ideal applicant must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills; experience prioritizing projects and working on several projects simultaneously with interruptions. Efficient and accurate in completing tasks as required, attending to detail, and able to anticipate and meet deadlines while working under pressure of multiple and changing priorities.
In-person Remote: 80% -90% of the work in person and 10%-20% of the work is remote.
Pay: $21/hour
Location: At this time, we are seeking an applicant willing to work with clients all throughout San Diego County.

Direct Support Professional
A DSP helps people with disabilities or other barriers to employment find and keep jobs while engaging in meaningful activities. Their responsibilities include:
- Working 1 on 1 or in a group setting developing plans: Creating job coaching and employment plans, and personalized employment plans for clients
- Assessing needs: Understanding clients' wants, needs, skills, strengths, personal and career goals
- Providing different levels of guidance specific to the individuals needs and level of independence.
- Work with clients daily to help them overcome personal barriers, develop skills, and improve work habits
- Teaching techniques: Teaching job searching skills, resume building, and interview preparation
- Monitoring progress: Evaluating clients' progress and maintaining data for performance reporting
Qualifications/Requirements: All applicants must have a high school diploma and must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Driver's License.
