Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance program effectiveness and outreach.
- Lead fundraising initiatives to secure financial support for programs and services.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Educate the community about available services, including hospice care, bereavement support, and social work resources.
- Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to strengthen community partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in leadership, mentoring, and counseling.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit or social service organization is preferred.
- Background in social work or related fields, with experience working with children being a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in fundraising efforts and community engagement initiatives.
- Experience in hospice care or bereavement support is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate diverse audiences effectively.
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is advantageous.
