We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator to help us go to the next level with our service. You will be expected to effectively communicate with patients about possible treatment plans we have to offer. You will also explain treatment options and related costs. The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient and assists in the gathering of information about the new patient experience, as well as coordinating a treatment plan with the doctor and presenting it to the patient. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, and they are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements. You are expected to create a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about the affordability of dentistry. The Treatment Coordinator will also coordinate as needed, with other offices making sure that referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial treatment plans, calculate fees based on fee schedules, and present plan options to patients
- Make all financial arrangements with the patient after the doctor has left the consultation
- Assist patients with financial options, insurance questions, and treatment concerns
- Be present during comprehensive exams to understand patient needs
- Handle objections to a proposed treatment
- Educate patients as necessary, regarding dental benefits
- Determine dental benefit eligibility. limitations, and payment estimates as necessary
- Follow up with large treatment cases and fulfill specific patient requests
- Assisting in all administrative tasks at the front office, including answering phones, and collecting payments
Qualifications:
- Will consider candidates with or without experience
- Love working in a friendly and positive environment
- Feel comfortable having financial conversations with patients and fielding objections
- Ability to prioritize and plan ahead
- Love working as a team to achieve bonus goals
- Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to demonstrate these skills in both face-to-face and electronic formats including but not limited to phone and email systems with special attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and resourcefulness
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills- must be able to establish and maintain positive relations with patients
