We are looking for a highly professional and energetic person to work TEMPORARY part-time with the possibility of more in the future. Growing medical office looking for a self- motivated, energetic, personable individual to join our team. Ideal candidate has high standards and is committed to wellness lifestyle and personal success. Must be a team player, have a great work ethic and be a self-starter with ability to multi task. Someone who has excellent communication skills, professional in appearance and action. Someone who is efficient in improvisation, paperwork, organization, and procedures. Must be energetic and cheerful—bring your positive spirit!
*Bilingual is a plus, but not necessary
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming calls and responding to caller inquiries
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Performing general office admin duties (e.g., coping, fax, filing)
- Preparing new patient charts
- Collecting co-pay and patient payments
- Working with billing service and insurance companies to verify insurance and proper payments
- Creating and maintaining office organization and proper patient flow
- Maintaining patient medical records
- Typing patients reports
- Using EHR system to input data for patients and post payments
- Assisting the doctor
- Creating marketing materials
The hours are:
Mondays 8:30-12:15, 2:30pm-5:30pm
Wednesday 8:30-12:15, 2:30pm-5:30pm
Fridays 8:30-12:15
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Mature, Outgoing, Personable, Dependable,
-Consistent Positive Energy, High energy, Excellent face-to-face and phone communication is a MUST
-Responsible, flexible, organized, self-motivated, health conscious, multi-tasker
- Previous administration work
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively and independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Comfortable using an electronic medical system and the internet
- Extreme accuracy, orientation to detail and organization
- Self motivated to get work completed, detail oriented, able to follow detailed instructions. Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sales, networking or marketing experience a plus
