Our studio offers a variety of fitness services, including Pilates Reformer, TRX classes, group fitness classes, massage therapy, and personal training. We are currently seeking a part-time passionate and experienced Group Fitness Class Instructor to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of helping people stay active, fit, and healthy. If you are looking for flexible part time work then this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead dynamic, engaging Pilates Reformer and mat classes for a variety of fitness levels.
- Create personalized Pilates programs to meet individual client needs and fitness goals, including those related to rehabilitation, injury prevention, and athletic performance.
- Offer clear instruction, corrections, and modifications to ensure safety and effectiveness for all clients.
- Build rapport with clients, providing encouragement, motivation, and a positive, supportive environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members (massage therapists, personal trainers) to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment.
- Stay updated on the latest fitness and wellness trends, incorporating them into your teaching.
Qualifications:
- Certified Pilates Instructor with specialization in Reformer Pilates (required).
- Additional certifications in mat Pilates or other modalities are a plus (e.g., TRX, yoga, barre).
- Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement patterns.
- Passion for health and fitness, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to tailor workouts for clients with different needs (e.g., beginners, athletes, seniors, post-injury).
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to teach mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
