What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Staff and PT tech position at ACTIVE LIFE PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Welcomes visitors by jovial greetings, in person or on the telephone; answering inquiries; giving directions; referring inquiries to PTs and other staff; exhibiting courtesy to all.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Conserves unit resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; maintains the reception area.
- Establishes patient record by preparing files and documents, paper and/or electronic; verifying insurance/payor source and patient eligibility; completing patient identification information.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects clinic operations and reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
