Responsible for day-to-day quality functions including inspecting and testing in-process products as defined by the work instructions and quality standards, ensure parts are meeting the standards and quality control throughout the manufacturing process and generating appropriate documentation, records and reports to support the findings.
Essential Duties:
- Inspection processing for complex machined component.
- Assist with gage calibration, as well as maintain gages.
- Daily part inspection.
- Interpret GD&T and program the software accordingly
- Communicate documented inspection results to the Quality Supervisor and manufacturing personnel.
- Creation of inspection sheet and bubble drawings.
- Process and containment of parts with defects or out of tolerance parts.
- perform in-process and final inspection of product to determine product compliance to specifications, including re-work and scrap activities.
- Assist with corrective actions for non-conformances, as needed.
- Contribute to quality procedures and internal auditing.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years' experience in a quality tech or similar role directly related to metal parts, preferably short-run and prototyping
- CMM Experience , preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Suite products: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and apply information from part drawings.
- Must have a procedural mindset, the ability to prioritize, understanding of quality management principles, attention to detail, ability to analyze data and understand connections.
- Effective communicator with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, twist and lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
