Active Staffing Services, one of the leading Full Suite Staffing firms in the Metropolitan area is recruiting on behalf of our client a global food distributor that sells and markets food, small wares, and equipment to businesses that prepare meals away from home.
We are looking for an efficient Raymond Reach Truck operator
Monday - Friday - all schedules subject to change with business needs
Shift is: 7 am to finish (3:30 pm) subject to change with business needs
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF RAYMOND REACH TRUCK EXP
MUST HAVE WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE
Candidates will be wearing a headset while on the reach truck to tell them where they need to go to pick a product, this is done by a computer-generated ticket - the computer only speaks English
Not a controlled temp environment
MUST HAVE 1-3 Years of Experience
Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials.
Fills requisitions and orders.
Packs, crates, and ships products and materials to distribution center, departments, or assembly line.
May operate fork lift.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with required years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
